Status lets your personality show

Status is a short update you can share when you have something worth saying or showing. Post a photo, text, audio or video update, then see recent updates from other people in the app.

Posting a Status is unlocked after profile verification. That creates a little more confidence around who is sharing, without claiming that verification can tell you everything about a person.

Global Lounge is a shared conversation space

When Global Lounge is available, it is a place for light conversation beyond one-to-one chat. There can be a shared topic for the day, reactions on messages and an optional setting for Lounge push notifications.

The Lounge may require profile verification before you can post, depending on the community setting. It is designed for kind conversation: contact details are not allowed there, and the same personal boundaries still apply.

You stay in control of the conversation

You can report a Status or a Lounge message for moderation review. If someone makes you uncomfortable, blocking them in Lounge blocks them across the app, not only in that discussion.

Use the spaces that feel right for you. You never need to rush a conversation, share a phone number or move off the app before you are ready.
